4th of July Weekend

I'm cooking!!

This is about the extent of my creativity... I'm working on it!

My tiny little peanut :-) I swear she's the happiest baby in the world!

Getting ready to head out for the beach!!! ... and this is the outfit the kids picked out for Mike for Father's day.

Loves these little guys :-) I don't know what my obsession is with horizontal stripes, but I attribute my wide-ness to them, and my 17 week old fetus!

...one more

Jason and Mike on the beach... Mike's Aunt and Uncle have THE most beautiful cottage on the entire beach (which is private)... with the most spectacular view of the lake (which I didn't take a picture of)! We even got to see a hellicoptor land on the beach... Jason loved that!

I love you guys too!

Lexie was so good at the beach. She just sat on this blanket and looked at the sand and rocks. She never complained the entire day! We can bring her anywhere! Jason had a blast in the sand too... but I didn't get any pics... I get too involved with having fun!

So this guy that is terrified of swimming pools, loves the lake!

On the 4th of July, my brother's family invited us over for a BBQ dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday. It was his first time meeting the kids, and the day turned out great. His step mom made SOOOO much delicious food (I'm talking the regular hamburgers, and hotdogs, two lazagnas, chivettas chicken breast, turkey and stuffing enchilladas, blueberry cheesecake bars, and a bunch more) and even sent us home with TWO giant tins full of it. I have to say- I really love leftovers!! Everyone was so nice and we all had so much fun. I wish I would have gotten a picture of everyone together though. Happy 30th Birthday Joe!

Mike's 25th Birthday

Grandma watched Jason while we had an early birthday dinner at P.F. Changs (he's been getting to antsy to take out lately). We had never been there before. Our favorites were definately the appitizers (the lettuce wraps, and the chicken flatbread), and dessert. The chicken flatbread sounds plain and boring, but we it was def. the star of the show. It is a must try!! After the great appitizers, our entree didn't match up... but we'd definately go back again.

On June 3oth he turned the big 25, and we met his Mom, her boyfriend and 2 of his sisters our for a burger, and then came home for icecream cake!

Happy Quarter of a century Mike! So glad to be able to share your last 5 birthdays with you! Love you!!
