Easter Treats

Of course we colored eggs for Easter. We decorated little monster eggs! Grandma joined in on the fun too! We also made chocolate and butterscotch bird nests! Colden is allergic to eggs but he decorated plastic ones :-) We also made construction paper eggs (not pictured) and a few other themed things!  Kids really do make holidays so much fun!

Easter

Easter morning all of the kids woke up at 7.  Jason immediately found Colden's basket hidden with the cereal (Cole's favorite cabinet).  Then he found his behind the chair in the livingroom.  Then they all looked around for Lexie's, which was under an end table. The each got a chocolate bunny in their baskets.  Jason and Lexie found a new book and a notepad and pen in theirs, and Colden, a stuffed sheep.  Then they found all of their eggs, filled with chocolate and jellybeans and money.  They were sugar overloaded!

My Dad and sister stopped over and brought the kids even more candy in the afternoon!

Then we went to Grandma's for dinner.  The kids each got another basket from Aunt Amy, and baskets, and all kinds of other stuff that wouldn't fit in baskets from Garndma!  Totally too much for Easter!

The kids with some of their goodies.  One of the things they got it play-doh with CARS molds.  It's our first time with it, and it is so fun!

Jasonisms

Some funny things I don't want to forget... there is so much more, already forgotten!

Last night while eating dinner (mind you I am not too good with meat to begin with)

J: Is this fish real?
M: Yes
J: Like it's from the Ocean?
M: Yes
Some time passes
It could swim?
M: Yes
J: It would fart and poop?
M: I'm full!

The other day needing help in the bathroom...

M: Jason you need to be patient. Mommy has lots of other work to do, I have other responsibilities too

J: Completely stumped like what?

Jason wonders about death and dying pretty frequently, and we live by a cemetary...

J: If you are buried in the ground when you are dead, then how do you talk to the other people in heaven?

Laura and Matt's Ohio Reception

Of course we forgot our camera.  So we tried to take a few with Pat's and stole them from her. We drove to Canton, Ohio for this way awesome reception.  We ate delicious food, and danced for hours.  The kiddos had a blast! We are so happy for you Matt and Laura! We loved seeing you guys!  It was so awesome seeing my 3 kids swimming with their Aunts and Uncle in the morning!  So blessed!!

Lexie and Grandma!

All sweaty from dancing!

The Bride and my sweet boy!

Jason loved dancing with Aunt Amy, and even had a sleepover in her hotel room!

Colden loved dancing too!

Love him!!

More dancing

Getting sleepy, dragging blankey and binky everywhere :-)
Checking out the dessert before dinner hehe

Notice Lexie in the background holding the bouquet that she caught!  This made her the happiest girl ever.  She was in love with these flowers! She carried the flowers, her baby bunnies and her purse around all night happy as can be.
