A Day Out With Thomas

Since trains are high priority around here, we couldn't pass up another oppertuntiy to see Thomas again. We are having beautiful 85 degree weather all week, and had so much fun seeing Thomas in the sunshine! Lexie has not stopped asking to go back since we left! We seem to be coming down with a little cold and didn't stay as long as we would've liked too, but we're so glad we went!

After we played at the train station, we came home for a delicious grilled chicken and corn on the cobb dinner, and went out for ice cream for dessert!  Now it's movie time... our first showing of Ratouille!

A local Farm

We headed over to a local farm in Clarence Center this morning with Aunt Amy. The kids got to ride a pony, milk a goat (they opted to just watch), go on a hay ride, and pet various animals.  They really enjoyed all of the babies animals, and the water pumping station.  There was a baby calf, lambs, goats, bunnies, sheep, and chicks too.  There were also horses, pigs, cats, and roosters!  Colden took a tumble and his face is pretty scratched up :-(  He still seems happy he went!

Playdate

We got to bring Spot the class pet home yesterday, and it just happened to be a day when Jason's best friends came over to play. Here are Jason, Charlie and Taylor (and some of their younger siblings).

Great Grandpa's 68th

We celebrated Great Grandpa's birthday, and their last day here- swimming in their hotel pool!  What fun these kids are.  I'll have to add more pics once I get them!

Grandpa Dale and little Miss Lexie!

Niagra Falls

I met my Grandfather and step Grandma for the first time this week! I'm sure I'll add some more posts about it! It has been a really great visit. The kids are just smitten! We went over to Niagra Falls one evening. It was Lexie and Colden's first time there. We all had a great time.

Class Pet

Jason's time in Preschool is coming to a close. Not much more than a month left. I thought I should document his first class pet, Spot. The kids take turns taking spot home and recordig what they did with him in a notebook. We have had spot quite a few times. He even came with us to pick out our cat from the shelter. Most recently he went to the playground with us, and then to a Buffalo Bandits game with Jason and Aunt Amy. Jason shared his popcorn and icecream cone with him!
