Zoo

We took the kids to the zoo today. This was little Lexie's first time. She slept right through most of it! We got into all sorts of trouble... first we were scoulded by the police for going through a road block, but they blocked off the entrance to the parking lot... so it wasn't entirely our fault. Sure Mike blew right past the officer sitting at the block, but same difference. Next we climbed up this giant rhino to take pictures, just as we have seen everone else do every time we go to the zoo. We thought that was what it was there for, but as I look at the photos I see the sign... PLEASE KEEP OFF THE RHINO... lol. Jason's favorite this time were the giraffes. I remember them being bigger? Here are some pictures...

Mike has been BUSY...

To start the summer off... Mike graduated from UB!

Then to end the summer he started his new Accounting gig! Here is our very own staff accountant after his first day of work. The kids (or just Jason and I) attacked him when he got home :-)

In between graduating and starting his CAREER, Mike studied to take the first part of the CPA exam. He opted not to pay for the overly priced review classes and went at it alone. He ended up taking the exam two days after little Lexie arrived. He worked so hard. It sure wore him out ;-)

We waited for six weeks to learn that HE PASSED! Here he is right after we found out. Yay, we're so proud of you Mike!

One Month

Lexie is one month old today! She weighs in at 10 lbs 1 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long! She is still such a great baby... she sleeps at night (only wakes up for a quick bite to eat) and doesn't cry too much, but she does love to be held. We are so thankful to have her.

Think Pink

Eventually we'll break out all of her different hair bows and flowers... but for now she is only ever in PINK (hence the same pink flowers)! She'll be 4 weeks old tomorrow... time sure flies by!

I love this little girl :-)
