We're finding that this new accounting gig comes with its perks... first you file your own taxes for free... ammendments and all... secondly, when you file for family they sometimes repay you with a nice dinner out! Thanks Dave!

Living room and Master bedroom

We didn't do anything to the master at all... but the before pictures of the living room are a few posts down. I must have to clean my camera lense to get rid of those spots on my pictures!

My baby got an owie!!

Jason fell and bit right through his lip :-( Not totally sure how... his top teeth dented the coffee table, and his bottom teeth were bloody, and he has a tiny hole under his lip.


Lexie found it quite funny though.

Lexie was a little over 6 months old here... with her friend Adele! Lexie loves babies!

Jason is getting so old!!! He loves to write and draw... he really likes drawing circles, the number 1 and recently added suns and squares too... plus he draws small lines together to imitate my lists... so cute

Lexie loves Cheerios... she hasn't mastered the pincer grasp yet... so she grabs a fist full and puts her whole hand in her mouth, haha.

She can also sit up pretty well now... and loves to play!

Can't believe this little peanut is 7 1/2 months old already!

This guy LOVES his new big boy bed... and his car blankets too! He hasn't missed our old house at all... in fact sometimes when we leave, he checks to make sure we will be returning "home to new house" when we are done. He's so cute!

New House... Before pictures

Here are just a few... still more to come. These are the rooms we are working on at the moment... We're planning to move in on the 21st, and hoping to get as much done before that as possible. We're moving along at a good pace considering Mike has to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week. We have been to home depot every night since we closed... so much for all of our planning ahead! I'll have another post to show the master, Lexie's bedroom, the kitchen, and the basement which is fully finished.


This is going to be Jason's room. This is how it looked when we got it... it is about half way done at this point. Under this beautiful paneling was even prettier wallpaper. We're almost done scrapping it off, and already have all of his paint and accessories waiting. This room will have hardwood floors too.


This is our only bathroom, and it doesn't need anything more than new accessories. Yes we are losing the butterflies for more of a chocolate brown.


This is the living room, also in it's original form. In here we already painted, and swapped out the thermostat, door handles, and outlets. This room also has beautiful hardwoods under this carpet (which is coming up). We already got most of our accessories for this room too, including area rugs and lamps.

These are the beauties we found the day we closed...We couldn't be happier with them. We're going to put on a new topcoat, and some quarterround where the carpet tack strip is in the pic.
