Jason's 5th Birthday/ Class Party

Jason started his big day opening a few presents from his parents and siblings. Then he headed off to school with Triple Chocolate Fudge cupcakes to share. He came home wearing a birthday crown. The we headed for a Cars picnic at the park with most of his class! Jason was very polite and friendly. This morning he even asked Lexie to help him open one of his gifts! A very proud moment for this Momma!

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I was really worried about the weather, because the forcast said it would be storming for our entire trip. Luckily the weatherman got it wrong, and it was beautiful almost the entire time. We had a great time. The kids did great. The fevers subsided by the time we got here, but Lexie was left with a little cough and a runny nose.

The ocean was so warm and we all enjoyed going in! 

Colden playing in the sand.  He did not like the feeling of walking in the sand at first, but he got over it.  He prefers swimming in the pool like his mom!

Colden loves water.  Once we took off his life jacket and left only the water wings he was set!  The life jacket made him too tipsy!

More Durham

We spent some time swimming in the hotel pool while in Durham. We FORGOT our camera, but we borrowed to get through our trip. I don't have any pics of Laura or Emma, but they were here too!

Durham, North Carolina Part 1

On Friday night we left Buffalo around 830pm and arived in Durham around 7am. Here we are day one at the playground in front of Grandpa's house. Jason is so happy to finally swing on the swings (he overcame his fears this year). We had such a great time in Durham.  We always feel so welcome and relaxed, and very well fed!  We brought a cold virus down there with us.  Sorry guys!  Colden's fever spiked 106.9 while we were there.  Pretty scary, but the motrin got it down right away, phew. Stay tuned, lots more pics to come!
