Happy Halloween!

It was cold, but Jason made his rounds tonight with his Daddy and Aunt Amy! "Treats Please!" We even got to see a beautiful rainbow. For only going to 6 houses, Jason has tons of treats! It was a successful Halloween.

Trick-Or-Treating

We went trick-or-treating at the mall this morning and met up with our playgroup there. Lexie wore Jason's old penguin costume because her ladybug outfit doesn't fit in her carseat!

Here are the very excited trick-or-treaters all dressed up :-)

Jason is getting so good at talking, but can't quite say "trick or treat," so he went around saying "treats please" ... so sweet!


In the midst of getting all of his treats, Jason spotted this tooth and ran right up to it! The tooth was generous enough to hold this pose as I fumbled through my bag to get the camera!

Afterward we all enjoyed free icecream in the food court!

HaLlOwEeN FuN

Mike and Jason had a fun morning at the mall... decorating a pumpkin, playing games, making a scary Halloween mask, and getting to see reptiles up close! Lexie and I stayed home to nurse our colds... but we all carved pumpkins afterward.

Carving our pumpkins... Jason was too scared to put his hands inside! He made Mike and I do all the work!


I guess he had fun... even though he elected to just watch... and do a little cleaning in the meantime.

Photo Shoot

We had Jason's first professional photos taken at 2 months, and so we had Lexie's done at 2 months too. Unfortunatley we don't have Jason's on our computer to compare them, but here is our beautiful little lady...

Pumpkin "Painting"

Here is Doctor Jason and a big red truck at the mall. We went to the mall this morning to play for a while and then go to the Halloween activity. We had to leave early to make it to the doctors, but Jason had fun just the same.

Here he is "painting" a pumpkin. He colored it with markers and then put tons of glitter on it.

The finished product! You can't tell from the picture... but the glitter he was given to use... is now EVERYWHERE!

Two Months

Lexie had her two month well visit today (we were there for almost 2 hours)... She is now 12 lbs 13.5 oz (90%) and 23in (75%), while her head is only measuring in the 25th percentile. She had her first shots today, and was not too happy about it. Jason however, took his flu shot like a champ... If only he would take haircuts so well. Lexie still has a little cold. Not too bad though, she hasn't had a fever at all, and her stuffed nose never runs, even when we use the saline drops. She does sleep more during the day since she got this little cold though!

The Great Pumpkin Farm

Our 3rd annual trip to the Pumpkin Farm...
It was very cold, and Lexie has a cold... so we left her and Dad home this time. If there is another nice weekend before Halloween Jason and Mike will go together. There was a lot to do that we didn't get to. Jason was too scared to do the pie eating contest this time... maybe next year.

He was pooped!

Lately

Jason is really growing and changing so much lately. His vocabulary is expanding everyday, and his existing words are becoming more clear too. He is starting to like being a big brother now. He never really disliked it, but he wasn't interested before. Here, I caught him giving Lexie her binkie! He can say her name now, and also calls her baby sissy too :-)


Lexie on the other hand is quite the drama queen! She definately makes her presence known, but sleeps pretty well at night! Here she is loving her Grandma!


Jason has always loved puzzles, but this past week he began to do them completely alone! This is his favorite school bus puzzle. My baby is getting so big!


We also got to celebrate Jason's friend Garret's birthday this week. It was a cowboy themed party... but Jason wouldn't wear his hat :-( Here are some of the kids that were there.
