We had a great Valentine's week! I am not old fashioned when it comes to holidays. I'm not all about waiting. In fact I think it is very overwhelming when we do it all on one day, and much more fun to spread out the festivities.
My 1st born Valentine! Isn't he handsome? He wants to wear a tie everyday now. He says that he's going to work. I am going to have to buy him more dress shirts because his ties look a little silly on his tee shirts! This was Valentine's Day and he was headed to his class party.
The flowers in the background are from my sweatheart!
We made these yummy cookies for his class to share!
On the day before Valentine's Day, we exchanged Valentines with Aunt Amy. Colden took it upon himself to dig through her purse and fiddled with her IPOD! He loves music, and dances so cute!
It was difficult to get a picture of him with the IPOD because he is such a Ham and keeps posing for the camera! LOVE HIM to pieces!
We saved some of the treats from Grandma for the day after Valentine's day. Here is my sweet little girl with her giant cookie!
The bruise on her forhead is the remnents of a giant gooseegg that she acquired at the gym playplace
Oh how I love her sweet little personality! So happy!
We also spent an afternoon making the cookies and Valentines for everyone. Jason and Lexie made cards all by themselves, and Jason gave out fun dip Valentines at school! He had a lot of fun playing mailman and delivering them to his friends' "mailboxes." For Valentines dinner we had some friends over for homemade pizza and bruchetta while Mike worked late
(tax season afterall).
