Michigan Zoo

We love exploring new zoos. It's so fun to see different animals than we are used to seeing at our zoo. We saw a ton of new and interesting things here. Pelicans, spider monkeys, super cute and friendly penguins, walabees, and an eagle to name a few.  Plus we got to do a ropes course and ziplining!  The kids got to pet pigs, goats ad chicken too.  We finished off our adventure with slurpees for everyone from Grandpa Dan. Terrific day... a tad too hot though!

Michigan

 

 We drove to Michigan to visit my grandparents this past weekend.  We went on a riverboat while my Grandpa's band played.  We did lots of playing outside on the great tree swing. We went out to eat, and to an amazing zoo.  My Dad, sister and I all went on a ropes course and zipline at the zoo too!  And we met some extended family at a cookout. Great food! Plus we had a great time swimming at the hotel.  I think my favorite surprise of the whole trip was arriving at our hotel to find it filled with toys for the kids and snacks and drinks in the fridge.  SOOO AWESOME!! Thanks for a great visit!

CAMPING!!

Mike took all ofthe kids camping for a night thisp ast weekend. Amy was there with a friend and Pat met up with them too. I worked and couldn't make it, but it looks like they had a great time!

Aquarium

My friend Stephanie and I got together and took the kids to the Niagra Aquarium and then to the river for lunch at a playground. It was a really fun way to spend Friday morning!  The sea lion show was so good, and lunch was yummy!

 

Colden fell asleep on the way and missed half of the Aquarium, but we'll go back again soon!
