Colden Michael is ONE

Colden Michael is ONE! I just can't believe it. This year has been such a true delight. Cole is such an amazing little person. He has the absolute best temperment. So sweet, and happy and terribly cute! We are all blessed to know him! We sang happy birthday over organic, chocolate chip, banana pancakes on Colden's birthday.  We read lots of books, and snuggled all day. He has been extra snuggly (and extra drooly) I think he's teething... maybe molars.  Grandma came over at night and Aunt Amy, Stephanie, Tim, and Cameron and uncle Mike came to see him the next day.

Here are some things about my little guy at age 1:

• He absolutely loves to climb up and down the stairs. He even learned how to turn himself backwards, feet first and go down himself.
• He gives the biggest, strongest hugs, and wettest open mouth kisses ever. I love it!
• He goes to sleep with his binky and blanket all by himself in his crib, and always has without a problem.
• He is probably our pickiest child when it comes to food, but he will eat any fruit at all. He especially loves strawberries, blueberries and grapes.
• He loves the cat.
• He loves to play peek-a-boo and to be tickled.
• He babbles a lot. He can say Mama, Dada, baba, bye, hi, no, yea. He also makes little squeeks that we think sound like Dinosaur yelps, so cute.
• He LOVES bathtime. He loves water. He doesn't mind if he slips under, or if his brother or sister "accidentally" dump a cup of water over his head. When he does slip under he shoots back up so fast.
• He has always been very good in the car and loved his baby carseat, but he has been doing very well in his new forward facing seat too.
• He is allergic to eggs.
• He loves his Aunt Amy.
• He still takes 2, two hour naps every day, and wakes up so happy.  He doesn't even want to come out of his crib when he wakes up.  He just frolics around happy as can be!
